Re: Staff Bag or Stand bag?

Initially I would have to go with the carry bag. Much more convenient for trips to the range and doesn't take up much room in the trunk of the car.

But later on you might entertain the thought of getting a staff bag as well. They're great for golf trips (as long as you have the stowage room in the vehicle). I like being able to have my wet weather gear, extra balls, extra pair of socks, etc. stored in the bag without having to worry about packing that stuff each morning. And even though you have all those things packed away in the bag, there's no hassle pulling clubs or putting them back in. That is a major pet peeve of mine.

I use my staff bag maybe a dozen times each season. In that regard, it's kinda pointless to buy one unless you're gonna use it more. But it comes in handy for those golf trips.

And the best time to buy those staff bags is in January, when you can get some sweet discounts so the retailers can make room for the new stuff coming out.

But if you have to go with one or the other, the carry bag.
