Re: Jumbo putting grips

I posted putts for 2 rounds (shot 84 and 82).

Played 9 holes yesterday and shot 41 (12 putts), 4 GIRs

1-putts: 2, 4, 30, 5, 5, 5 feet

2-putts: 20/3, 12/1, 15/3

Unfortunately, I'll be going out of town on business and won't be back until middle of next week and probably won't play a full round until a week from this weekend, arrgghh. I'm playing my best of the season for 3 reasons:
  1. our course grass is now at its best, fairways are looking great and greens have been aerated twice and looking good...true rolls.
  2. I got my driver problems fixed...got rid of the Nike Sasquatch which, imo, was like hitting with a plastic-headed driver with a Diamana shaft that seemed too stiff for me. The TM r5 draw I got is great, hitting it 20-25 yrds further and straighter.
  3. Jumbo putting is helping my putting, which has always been the best part of my game (I use alignment lines on my ball).
These three things have come together now for the best golf I've played all year.

I'd be interested in another update after 5 and 10 rounds.
