That's how I like to practice my shortgame also, by playing a par-3 course. Recently I have been using a facility in Lancaster, MA. Very similar place, but the greens at the par-3 are quite a bit smaller (and of lesser quality), and the holes are longer. And they have bunkers. I remember some of the water and poisson ivy (

), but I don't recall any sand at Kimbal Farm, Bunkerbound!

(But it has been a while since I've been there.)
