A couple of years ago, I would often feel that I had Phil Mickelson's swing (except that I am right-handed, playing right-handed). With the long clubs I felt that I had the same over-swing, and with the shorter clubs I had the same finish.

After that, when I learned to maintain spine angle, I felt like I had a Vijay motion going.

After that, I went through a stage where had the exact same high finish as Luke Donald.

After yet another swing change, I ended up with Fred Couples followthrough.

I have felt Ryan Moore's swing, and Annika Sorenstam's swing also, and Tiger's 'swing-portrait' swing as well (not his full speed action!).

These feelings are extremely strong: The picture of a certain pro immediately flashes in front of me after some shots, and the resemblance between the feel of the swing and the visual from the TV coverage seems stunning.

Vice versa, I have never visualized a pro swing prior to a shot, and then managed to swing just like him/her. These swings / swing feelings never were the result of trying to imitate any of the pro swings.

Does anyone else have these, or similar feelings?

You must be REALLY REALLY good!
