You're asking me if I'd pay $500 to travel to a tournament to play for $100, which makes no sense. Phil is playing for
$1,000,000 when he tees it up, not $100, and it doesn't cost him $5,000,000 to travel to the tournament - the relative equivalent in travel expenses in the example you gave for me. Therefore your example don't work.
No, I wouldn't pay $500 to go play for $100. Phil doesn't have to pay $5,000,000 to go play for $1,000,000, so the example is moot.
