No, that's his intention, only Kenny knows his motive, regardless of what he tells us. And the reason I restated what I said is that you asked me what specifically I was doubting, although I thought I had made it clear.

I never said it was; what I've said is that I don't think he's trying to make the team for the reasons he's stated, in other words I doubt his stated
motive. If it was a matter of national pride, he would play in the U.S. Open. He didn't. So I find it hard to believe he wants to "represent his country".
He can do what he wants for whatever reason he wants, but I think this is about Kenny Perry redeeming himself for making a fool of himself at the last major in his home state 10 years ago, and it has nothing to do with America, national pride, love of country, or any of this other nonsense.

Neither can I, if you're honest about why you're doing it.
And P.S. I find it an insult to your country to skip your national open to prepare for the Traveler's Championship, regardless of what your intentions, motives or anything else is, and I don't see how you can possibly skip the U.S. Open because of your overwhelming desire to play on the U.S. Ryder Cup team; it doesn't make sense, unless the entire national pride thing is meaningless to you to begin with...
