Just puttin' it out there...
The PGA has as much or more to lose from Tiger testing positive...I don't think that there's a chance that they would "go after" him, but suppose he did have something currently in his system that might be considered somewhat benign as far as serious 'roids or the like are concerned, but are still on the banned list, and the PGA encouraged him to take his time coming back...say at least 6 months or so...
Regardless, no one is coming out to the Tiger estate and asking for a sample during his recovery...while currently not active, there is no requirement that he declare himself "retired" or "on the DL" or "active"...I would imagine testing would occur at an event, not random house calls or visits to area sanctioned testing facilities sprinkled around the country...just because a player has his card is he breaking any rules if he never enters another tournament? That's why Tiger won't be tested IMO, or any other player, until they register for a tournament and show up to check in...
I'm just saying it COULD be a reason...
