Re: A VERY important golf tip for us all
.
That was gay.
Two steps, two hands and an overhand toss?
Way too demonstrative and not nearly as emphasizing as the one-armed, backhanded helicopter. This works especially well in making a statement because it's done immediately after the followthrough and while your feet are still in their address position.
At the top of the followthrough, simply let go of the club with your left hand (for a right-handed golfer), and swing the club back down the swing path, extend your right arm (still holding the club), to the nine o'clock position, and release the club at that point. Done correctly, the club will fly about ten to fifteen feet off the ground in a helicopter fashion and land about 20 to 30 yards away.
The "One Piece" nature of this technique has a certain panache and though it seems subtle, the result can be quite dramatic, especially if there is someone searching for a ball about 20 yards away and to your right.
