My favorite course was in a little town in North Central Arkansas called Big Creek. It was built by Ault, Clark & Associates and is just a gem. It costs less than $50 to play and since it is such a small town, there are less than 20K rounds played on it annually. Maybe I am just way to easy to please, but this is a beautiful layout with plenty of challenges amid rolling terrain with mature trees and lots of water features. I also played Branson Creek where the discounted rates were $100+ and was touted as one of the great new courses...it left me flat.
