I totally understood your original post. I was tickled about your description of the course. Im always amazed at the snootiness of people who talk of their courses in hushed tones and have secret handshakes. As if the very mention of some hallowed country club somehow elevates your status.

Ive played all the private clubs here where I live and Im not impressed with the quality of each.
