For me it is a combination of a few of the other posts on here. Like Jp I have the uncanny ability to hit a 6 iron as high as most hit a PW, so when im *locked* behind a tree, and my playing partners say, "just go over it" its a great feeling to know that I can and will. Sort of along those same lines probably the best feeling for me is to be short sided with a bunker between me and the hole and be able to pull my SW open the face, hit it 20ft in the air and have it drop and stop at the pin. Im by no means a real fan of Phils, but watching him execute this many years ago made me want to be able to execute that particular shot, and after many *skulled* shots or shots landing way short, I have become quite proficient at it.
