Re: Value of Clubs

pga value guide is for trade in only...your best bet...which was already described, is a completed listings search on ebay... or multiply the trade in by 1.4 cause thats about all the clubs are really worth... its like driving a car off the lot, todays technology is tommorrows past time...I have a couple of friends that run a golf store new equiment is list minus 15% old is value guide, *1.8 and their goal is 1.4...they accept offers...about the only clubs i ever see above valueguide are fisher putters...the ones with changable inserts...a club that was probably the best of its kind... you can't hardly find em for sale anywhere anymore...personally haven't had one... but my merrill lynch broker does...he goes to the putting greens, puts nothing but 5 footers and keeps changing inserts until they barely role in, then he is ready to play...and he typically has no more tha 29 putts a round...a great putter in my book....I tried changes weights in my putter... but it just makes me think about the fact that my putter is now heavier, thus it might go farther...and I end up short...so I quit messing with it.
