88 on my home course. Played my usual game, basically: bogeys and a few pars, but doubled two of the four closing holes (my home course's "Amen Corner").
42* when I teed off, but sunny and very little wind. Played as a single behind a threesome (that was behind another threesome). I caught them on the fifth hole, but having had a chance to observe their play, I lingered rather than have them invite me to join. At the turn, one of them dropped out; I continued leisurely play till I was caught by the single behind me. I'd been observing his game him as he was catching up, so I was happy to have him join me for the last six holes. A good day.
