Oxmoor has 2 courses plus a par 3 course in the same area of Ross Bridge so the terrain is similar. The Ridge course plays along the ridge line of the mountain, and the Valley course sits lower. For someone like me from flat-land golf, it's quite the challenge and a lot of fun to play in the hills and mountains of Birmingham.
Glad to hear you think highly of Oxmoor Valley. My best friend and I are playing there in June, along with Capital Hill and Grand National. We will be playing both courses at each site each day. Last year we played Highlands, The Shoals, and Silver Lakes. 36 a day in the heat was kind of rough. I am going to be in better shape this year so my afternoon round doesn't suffer like last year.
I cannot say enough about what I have seen from RTJ Trail. From reservations, to the staff at the courses, to the golf itself, everything was exceptional. Especially the golf. 6 great rounds of golf for $129 total.....unbelievable. If I had to play any of the courses I have seen so far, I would probably play The Shoals courses again. Tremendously long (7900+ and 8092) and beautiful
