I have standard 7-1/2" hands and the stock grips on my '04 Callaway Big Bertha irons have been fine but need replaced. I'd like to stay with the same thickness/diameter if at all possible. They work. This will result in undersized grips. You'll just need to add a few layers of build-up tape prior to installation. As is, they will be about 1/22" undersized, which is definitely noticeable and so if you do not like the feel of thin grips, simply add layers.
