I've had these clubs for about a month now. First impressions were mixed. I liked the way they felt, very soft compared to other cast clubs. On the down side I could not seem to hit them straight with everything going right or an outright shank. The problem turned out to be the huge difference in offset from my previos clubs. The R7 tp's have almost no offset and are not as forgiving on mishits as my old clubs. This forced me to become much more focused on each shot. The end result is that I now love them. My iron play has improved partly from the clubs but mostly from the need to focus more. One could argue that I could have saved the money spent on the clubs and just focused more, but then I wouldn't have new clubs.

I expect to have these for a long time. For those of you who learned with blades, as I did, but have been using game improvement clubs for a while, you might want to give these a try. They have many of the best qualities of blades combined with the best qualities of game improvement irons. They are not the right club for everyone, but they are right for me.
