I've got a set of 845fs that my dad gave me after the guy that won them in a company golf tourney couldn't accept them due to "conflict of interest" (he was a client of the company). I tried using them once and found them a bit short at standard length. Didn't seem to fit my son, either. They did come in handy when a friend visited and borrowed them for a round. Since then have sat in my garage for at least 2 years.

I've been thinking of getting a new set of irons fitted to my specs. Maybe I should consider having these lengthened and adjusted to fit. I'll have to have some fitting done to find out if graphite or steel would be best for my swing. I just wonder if having 8 clubs reshafted or lengthened and adjusted to fit would be cheaper than a new set of component clubs?
