Reshafting Nike NDS irons

I'm having a go at reshafting my Nike NDS irons. I am pulling out the stock uniflex and putting in Dynamic Gold R300. I just pulled my 3 iron as practice and noticed it has a brass tip weight in it. I was just doing some reading and didn't realize I would need to weigh the clubs to do this properly. How important is it that I get the swingweights exact? Would I just be better off taking them to my local club fitter to do the reshaft? I'm a do-it-yourselfer and would rather save the money if I could, the local guy quoted me $240 total for labor and shafts.

Do I need to buy a swingweight scale to do this properly? I have everything else I need except the shafts and ferrules. I was thinking about using a postal scale and this calculator...
Swing Weight Calculator

Any opinions? Thanks.
