Re: Taylormade r7

.

Just an update on the TM 425 TP.

In an earlier post, I said that I was waiting for a V2 shaft to be delivered and man was it ever worth the wait!

I popped that shaft in, played a few rounds with it and it is pure Buttahhhhh!

The TM 425 TP with this V2 shaft is easily the best driver I've ever owned. Beautiful trajectory (at 9.5 deg.), shape-ability and with the V2 shaft I have a "standard" shot option for control and a *Holy S----! option for when I really want to let the shaft out.

* Holy S---! is based upon an actual comment made by a playing companion after watching a "let-the-shaft-out" tee shot.

He just stood there and said, "Holy S---!"

I believe I'll refer to such things as the "H.S. Option" from here on in.

BTW, my longest to date with this setup is 315 yds. with a "long average" in the 290's
"Controlled" average is in the 255 - 265 range.

I always wanted a two-speed club.

Love this club!
