Golf Rewound is the fourth (and best ) golf discussion board I've posted to, and on all of them I've noticed that most posts do not get replies addressed specifically to them. But that doesn't mean that no one read or enjoyed the post. It's just the nature of discussion boards. You add your and maybe someone replies and maybe someone doesn't. For me, the fun parts are reading and writing; if I get an occasional reply, so much the better.

Two things can help people get replies, I think. One is to post a lot (observing the rules and spirit of the site, of course). This will get you known a little better; people may be more likely to respond to someone they feel they know.

The other is to come right out and ask a direct question. However, if you ask the question as part of a thread that's on a different topic, the question might get overlooked by people more interested in discussing the thread's announced topic. If there's a particular question or statement that you really want a response to, just start a thread about it. Sooner or later I think you'll eventually get a reply or two.
