I'm playing a "mixed" set now. Using my 8&9 from the old blade set, and the rest from my 5 yr old Apex set. Also had the 2 iron blade regriped, and use that for 200-210 yd shots. If I flush it, I can get about 230
The only thing I see is that you have to hit these blades in towards the hosel, or it will fade/slice off big time. Even the 8&9 will push hard. You can fell them "twist" in your hand. We will see as it gets colder how they really feel
