They're firm with a "hint" of softness...sounds like a baby diaper commercial, huh? But I could easily play a round sans glove, with no problems. What sold me was the nice tacky feeling, even when damp/wet. I really need that here in sub tropical south Florida. I could show up for a golf game during the worst drought in the history of the Gobi Desert, and it would rain cats and dogs.
