That was easier than I thought it would be. I'd be up for a playoff tournament with this group. I listed 17 in case Dixon is ready in which case they'd replace Clemson.
None of the teams in bold have proven capable of beating the top 10. Should cruddy teams like Illinois and Clemson really be given a shot at anything? They had their chance in the regular season, no reason to give losers 3rd and 4th chances to lose again. The teams in blue would be something I could live with in a playoff, and nothing more.
