Sometime last night, our resident Long Islander and oftentimes political correspondent JPsuff passed the 1000 post mark to pick up his Green Jacket. Congrats to you, JP, and thanks for keeping things interesting around here.

It's nice to be thought of as "interesting". Of course, given the language constraints here I can imagine what some of you really meant to say, but that's fine with me.
A famous person once said: "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" and I truly feel that way myself which is probably why I question things so often. See, I really dig the whole "Liberty" thing and censorship of any kind and in any place really

me off!

But, truth be told, I really like this board (no matter how much I whine about it) and I find many of the people here - "interesting", as well.

So, where do I pick up my winner's check?
