Latest Green Jacket winner - mr3856a

mr3856a has reached, with little fanfare until now, 1000 posts here on GRW. Congratulations mr3856a on earning your Green Jacket!!!

So you get a permanent invite to the Champions Dinner, but you have to cater one first. So what's for grub?

Congratulations to one of our most provocative pot-stirrers, both here and at the old place. I wouldn't have bet that our mr numbers, as he's affectionately known(or not so affectionately by some), would ever make it to 1000. Thanks for always keeping it interesting and us on our toes.

Re: Latest Green Jacket winner - mr3856a

That's funny, I was thinking about this the other day, but hadn't looked at my post numbers lately.

Thanks for noticing, gentlemen, and if I can be opinionated at time (who, moi? ), I hope my contributions are for the most part constructive and add positively to the discourse. I've really enjoyed being back since my recent return, and I'm looking forward to the next 1,000.

Has anyone served sausage pizza at the champion's dinner? Well, I should say it's about time!

Congrats on your Green Jacket victory. If we had more NBA threads you would have made it a long time ago.

Can I get fries with that? Congrats, mr.

So, with a general campaign coming up, what's the over/under for when this guy hits 2000 posts?

The campaign talk has been slow around here lately, which is just as well. It's a long time until November (but not short enough until January!).

A late congrats on your Green Jacket. I thought I would use this thread as a vehicle to thank you for your contributions about the golf-swing / golf-technique especially! They aren't always spot-on for me, but I love to read them all: They always seem to hit me just right!

Aren't you the one that posted the keep-even-grip-pressure-throughout-the-swing drill, possibly more than a year ago? If you are, you are practically famous for it aound these golf forums!

Aw, shucks

Yeah, that was me, and that's probably done as much or more for my golf swing than any other drill I've ever come across.

Re: Latest Green Jacket winner - mr3856a

We may have to build an addition on to the clubhouse. The Green Jacket club is growing faster than the facility can keep up with it. Welcome to the club.

I have to admit though.... I kinda prefer a neopolitan veggie pizza with a glass of a nice Montalcino Brunello
