Ping i5 owners or experts...

I've done some searching and I can't find the answer to this question - Does anyone know if the i5 lie angle can be adjusted? Judging by the shape of the hosel, it looks like it could be, but I wanted to ask you guys. Ping's website lists possible lie adjustments for all the classics, but I can't find anything on the newer irons. I'm thinking of getting some of these, but will probably go the ebay/used route and just wondered if standard lie doesn't work, what my options would be. And before I get the "getting fitted in person is the best and you'll be sorry if you don't" line - I know - I'm just weighing my options... Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to what clubs can be bent where on their site: http://www.pinggolf.com/global_repair.html I didn't help much as the i5 isn't listed, but elsewhere on their site, they commented that adjustments could be made up to 4* - but I'd email them, or talk to a dealer to be sure.

You can have an authorized retailer send them back to Ping and have them adjust them. A club technician can bend them as well, but if they get sent back to Ping, they will record the serial number and change the lie that they have on record, this way if you ever lose an iron, you can give them a serial number and they can match to what the lie actually is.

Re: Ping i5 owners or experts...

You can adjust those up to two degrees with no problem, if you go past there could be failure, and most shops wont guarantee they will not break.

If you have anyone else other than Ping bend the clubs you will have no warantee on the clubs from Ping if needed in the furure.
