Taking the Chrome off of irons

Do you guys know how I can go about taking the finish off or chrome irons? I don't have a set of new irons or anything yet but I really like raw irons. The next set of irons I do get will be a forged set and I would rather them be raw.

The iron factory, Golfsmith, or Golf Works can handle that for you.

.

Go to the Yellow Pages and find a metal shop that does either glass beading or sandblasting and ask them if they could do it for you. You'd have to pay them, naturally, but it would be cheaper than sending them out and quicker as well.

Just bear in mind that any non-chrome finish requires a lacquer coating to prevent rust. You can get the lacquer in aerosol cans at either Golfworks or Golfsmith.
