I have a couple of Gripmaster grips on some putters...they are really sweet, but expensive.

They are expensive, but with minimal care, they last a lifetime.

The perfs are strictly for decoration, they have no useful purpose. All of my leather grips have no perfs.

Based on my grips with no perfs, yes. However they may allow moisture to get under the grip, and cause accelerated wear. What's your take?

Not sure....thought maybe it would help the grip breath and possibly enhance the "feel" a bit. Almost making it a bit more "grippy" perhaps.

It may help sweat that seeps through the wraps, i.e. where the leather overlaps, to evaporate quicker. However, sweaty hands in the summer tend to make my grips stickier anyway. That's what I like about leather, moisture doesn't seem to affect your grip as bad as synthetic or rubber when wet.

Yeah, leather definitely absorbs moisture better.
