Discovered my shaft is broken...

I went to a clubfitter yesterday to fix a rattle inside my driver shaft only to discover that the shaft has a crack... ...now the problems begin as it is easier said than done when it comes to finding a particular shaft around here, and I haven't yet found a shop that will special order for me...ordering myself is a hit and miss propisition as I lose a good porportion of what is sent to me to the customs officials (or so I believe...the packages mysteriously "disappear")...I'll be traveling to the states in December hopefully but that is up in the air as well as being a LONG time away...
I am going to start to check the local shops, but am not very optimistic...

Explains why I've been hitting 3 wood farther than driver the last week or so....

Sounds too familiar.. I think it is the main reason why many sellers on eBay do not ship to Indonesia.

I usually wait until there's a friend (or a friend of a friend, or a relative, etc.) that happens to return or travel to Indonesia and ask he/she to bring it for me.

Maybe you can find a reasonably priced used driver with a shaft you like and pull it and install in your driver.

They don't really have that kind of thing available around here...

I DID find a shop that does something that is pretty much unheard of...they will order clubs and shafts on demand! To this point this is the first shop here that I have found that will do that...and to further raise the profile of the shop, when I walked in, the guy in charge of equipment repairs was none other than the guy that did all my work up until 11 months ago when he mysteriously disappeared from the shop that I used to frequent...well, I found him again and he is based in what seems to be a nice little place...thanks Hypergolf for the tip!
