Wedge Bending, Bounce effect

I was wondering this, when the head is bent, what if any effect does the bounce take?, ive heard this but i just cant seem to fully understand it, anyone willing to spit me out some info , thanks

Yes, when you reduce the loft of a club by 1 degree, you also reduce the bounce by a degree. If you bend them stronger by several degrees, the club will become somewhat offset, if you go week a few degrees, it will become onset.

Sorry to threadjack, but how degrees would you have to bend before the offset becomes noticeable? I want to bend my 60* to 58*, would there be substantial offset?

It's not too noticeable at 2 degrees, but for fun I bent a 52 to 48 and it looks like a four iron from a game improvement set.

Haha I see okay, so 2* is about the max you'd want to bend it then...

Yeah, it's about the most that I would go. Most wedges have a bit of onset to begin with, so 2 degrees brings the leading edge about equal to the hosel.
