Re: Srixon W-506

I have tested this driver in a 9.5 and find it to be very long and forgiving. I have one ordered which will hopefully be in my hands shortly - with the standard shaft. I found this shaft to have a lower ball flight than the aldila NV which is what I was after. I played 5 rounds with this driver and my worst showing was 10/14 fairways - I had 2 perfect 14/14 rounds with at least as good if not better distance than my MP001. If I end up not liking the shaft I will replace with either a Graf COMP NT or Graf Prolaunch Red.

Re: Srixon W-506

As an update the one I purchased had a 46.25" long shaft so it was a bit long for me but I managed to control it and get some good distance. The one thing it did change over how I was hitting it was I ended up hitting the ball much higher. While It is nice hitting high bombs, I wanted to change it to bring the flight down. I have just installed a grafalloy prolaunch red and only played 1 round so far. I noticed a much more penetrating ball flight with this shaft and am very happy with it. This driver has now had like 2 revisions in NZ - the Zti and now the Zrw (plus the XXIO series) but I would still recommend people give this a go if they see one.
