Re: Infiniti xMOI Propulsion 460

Demo'd club: Infiniti xMOI Propulsion 460, 9* loft, Accra T60 (M4) stiff shaft, Lamkin crossline grip.

Very nice looking club. I like the tear-drop shape of the head, although I know others find it a little odd. The quality of the club head is evident in the finish and style, and the dark face add to the cosmetic appeal. An added benefit of the dark face is it easy to see where the ball is striking the face.

I hit this club pretty well, getting good distance and roll, even on some mishits. One of the more forgiving clubs I've tried, it still cannot correct for a bad swing, and I gave it plenty of chances! Once I adjusted to the right tee height, ball position, etc. I found it easy to hit it straight, or even impart a slight draw. Unfortunately I could not get the ball as high as I'd like, so I think I'd prefer at least a 10.5* or higher loft. I was hitting the 9* mid to low, but still reaching 260+, so could probably get another 10-20 yards with a mid-high ball flight.

Anyone needing a driver with plenty of forgiveness should try one of these. Probably one of the few drivers that can be forgiving without sacrificing distance.
