Help me with iron selection, please...
im 6"2' 245 with a 104 mph driver swing and about an 85mph 5 iron swing. i have nike slingshots with regular shafts right now and i feel like they are holding me back. i would like some suggestions for new irons, which i will purchase this coming summer. Help me PLEASE...

What is your handicap? Do you want a blade or a players cavity or a mild game improvement club? There are a ton of choices out there.

nevermind, i just tried some Mizuno MX-23's with stiff shaft, and im done searching... when i was at the shop, i told one of the pros there my handicap, what clubs i currently have and all that jazz. he gave me some suggestions and i opted to try them out. i hit one ball and i heard two of the pros whispering to eachother after my swing. i hit one more and they felt GREAT, when i heard "what did you say your handicap was again?" i turned and answered, "a 17" the pro said, "that doesn't look like a 17 swing, what part of your game are you struggling with?" i told him, driving and he said, "well if you fix that, you could be a lot better than a 17."

needless to say, i was stunned that a negative handicapper liked my swing and i was very happy to find the right set.

If you can, demo an MX 23. MX 25 replaced these. 23's will be cheaper and there are a lot of them around.

I would get the new Nike CCI Cast version...they are very very sweet sticks

I'd say either the MX-23's or the CCI's

Their are hundreds of cavity backs out ther..go go look around, hit a bunch, and make a choice.
