Dented Driver

Last month I put a healthy little dent on toe of my driver. Wasn't to broken up about it or anything because it only cost me $50. This may be a stupid question, but here goes; does the dent in any way effect the integrity of the club? The dent isn't on the face so, I would think that it would not. But, not certain so I thought I would ask.
Thanks!

Re: Dented Driver

A dent on the crown will affect the sound, but not too much else. You want to make sure that the dent hasn't gone over the weld line between the face and the crown, it will significantly affect the structural integrity of the club.

A dent in the face will effect the ball. Most other places on the club, it won't.

He said it wasn't in the face..I dented the heel on mine a few weeks ago, and the manufacturer replaced it for free! Give em a call, you may be surprised! It won't affect performance, but it will an eye sore.

Re: Dented Driver

Thanks for the responses, as I stated earlier, it is a pretty cheap Driver that I bought 2 years ago when I first started taking golf seriously. V-day and my anniversary are just around the corner, so maybe cupid will bring me a new Driver to go with my new irons that Santa brought.

Re: Dented Driver

If it's on the toe, it shouldn't affect playability. Can you even see if at address?
