Comparing Big Bertha 2004 woods to newer clubs.
I have big bertha 2004 fairway woods and was thinking about upgrading to some X woods maybe. Just wondering if any of you have tried both or something else newer. Are they much better or would I be better off saving my money for something else? I'm having a little troube with my 3 wood on the fairways but not off tee, maybe I should just switch to a 4 wood? How much difference is the distance between a 3 and 4 wood off the tee anyways? Thanks for any help or info, Chad.

Re: Comparing Big Bertha 2004 woods to newer clubs.
A 4 wood won't cost you much off the tee, maybe 5 yards or so. The X woods are very similar, but set up a little better at address. The X sole lets the club sit square to the target when you place it on the ground. There really isn't much other than that to make them better. Solid distance and a good sound.
