Scotty Cameron Circa '62 Headcovers

I just got a new Scotty Cameron Circa '62 No. 5 w/o headcover.

Are all of the Circa headcovers the same?

I tend to believe they are but would like some reassurance.

Nice pick up on the Circa 62! Love the soft feel of the Circa line....I can't wait for the new 2007 Circa w/ charcoal mist finish to come out

I was very surprised at how good these putters feel. And the charcoal mist will only make them better. That glare is the only (potential) flaw with the gun blue finish- IMO.

first off, nice choice on the putter going with a scotty cameron, and secondly, you can find the head covers on ebay.

Agree with the glare issue, I've got the #3 model and the glare bugs me, am probably going to send it in for an aftermarket 3X oil can finish to fix that. Rust is also an issue with the gun blue, not a very wet weather stable finish.

Re: Scotty Cameron Circa '62 Headcovers

Thanks, Eddie. I'll be sure to wipe it down and oil it after each round.

This is my 4th Scotty and so far, it feels the best coming off the face. I haven't used it outside yet so we'll see.

But so far, it feels just as good as my Studio Style Newport 2.5 and if it rolls better than my Detour, I'll have a new gamer!

That is my only complaint with my Studio Design 2.5. I love the putter but the top line glares - blinding. Of course I can send it to Cameron for the misted charcaol finish for $110.

They are nice and do have a great feel and just some FYI, for 2007 Cameron's discontinueing the #5 but adding a # 6 so you may have a collectible there. The Circa's for 07 will also have a different finish...the one drstroud mentioned above, Charcoal Mist. I've never seen it, but it's supposed to be a lot more durable than the gun blue or oil can. So will you still game it or stash it away in hopes that someday it'll be worth more than your entire bag of sticks is worth? Like an 009 is today
