Picked up a partial set at a thrift store for $1/club but was missing the PW and 3i. Found a PW last year and just received the 3i I have been missing. Now I have a 2-PW set of these old clubs. Irons sure have evolved over the years.

Thumbs down. It says on the package that it is an 8.5 out of 10 for distance compared to one of the other Nike One balls (forget which one), but it may as well get a 2 out of 10. I lost at least a full club with every club, across the board. The feel is fine, not great, not bad, but the distance is just a killer.

Rate and discuss this ball if you've played it.

Cosmetic Question

My mp 68's came in the other day and they are sweet looking irons. The only drawback the dynamic gold stickers below the grip. Almost everyone of the stickers has peeled where it starts to overlap itself. In other words, it only stuck to the steel of the shaft. Now I have little half inch flaps of Dynamic gold sticker protruding from each shaft. I can press them back but they flap up in a few seconds.

Should I glue them or cut them off? I know it won't effect playability(other than possibly mentally). It's just that when you spend a lot on a set, you kind of expect good craftmanship.

As for the irons themselves, they are perfect. Nice crisp sound that I have never heard from my old Cobra's. I am gonna put masking tape on them when I go to the driving range to make sure I am hitting the sweet spot every time.

Center Shafted Putters

I've never used a center shafted putter before, and I was just wondering if it was a tremendous difference from a traditional shafted putter. My putter (Odyssey White Hot Tour #2) was recently stolen out of my bag on the bag drop, and the only Tour #2 I could find on ebay was center shafted. I'm nervous now that I made a hasty decision. Any tips on how to putt with them?

I e-mailed Wilson and asked how old was my Sam Snead Victory golf ball was and their answer was it was in the archives but they won't bother to look it up. I answered with get off your behind and go find out. I wanted to put it in my golf ball rack and cannot get an answer from them. Does anyone have an idea?
