GeekGolf "Dot Com This" 3 wood

This was my first experience with a product from GeekGolf. I was not disappointed!

From the first time I used this on the course, I liked the club. I played it from the tee on a short par 4 (305 yards), and left myself a nice little 65 yard pitch to get up and down for birdie. Yes, 240 yards down the middle, first time I hit it!

To back up a bit, this club is stamped as a "3hree" (3), but no loft is indicated. Their website lists it as 15*, which is what I expected after using it. The shaft in the demo'd club is an Accuflex Icon A2 (stiff) with a Golf Pride grip. All-in-all a good combination, judging by the performance I experienced.

Off the deck, with a tight lie, I had good results as well, around 225-230 yards, again nice and straight. It had a mid trajectory off the tee, mid-low off the deck, which was great for playing into the wind. It also peforms well from the first cut and light rough. It's not a low-profile head, so playing off the tee is easier without worying about sweeping under the ball, yet its COG is low enough, along with the three railed sole, to get the ball up and moving from various lies.

Very solid feel, nice weight to the head, and the ball just seems to jump off the face. Try one of these if looking for good distance and control in a club you can use comfortably off the tee or as a fairway wood, and even as a rescue for longer shots out of the rough.
