Re: Tour Edge Exotics

Given, that I am 67 years old, I hit my Exotics 4W at 16.5 degrees loft, as far as any Driver I have tried, and more accurate, Hit All FW's today and shot 78 with 9 clubs in the bag. The Tour Edge FW's have the same tech as their Drivers, and they are Long.

Re: Tour Edge Exotics

I just got a TEE 4 wood, based on the terrific reviews I read on them. I don't hit it nearly as far as I do my TEE driver, but I would recommend it as an easy to hit, solid club.

I've got the old model driver and 3 wood and they are great clubs - help a little with the loss of swing speed which is down to 92 mph from 98 in just 4 years - I don't like getting old but it's probably better than the alternative!

Re: Tour Edge Exotics

I have been playing the original Exotics 3 wood and 5 wood for aabout a year. I don't carry the 5 often since I walk, but the 3 (15*) is awesome. I have a lot of confidence in it, looking down at a very traditional looking club that is easy to get airborne. And yes, it is long.

Re: Tour Edge Exotics

I have an exotics 3 wood. Its a very long 3 wood, longest I have ever tried.

I don't really use it that much because I don't like the Aldila NV shaft in it, trajectory is too low. If I ever get high launching shaft in it, I could probably hit it as far as most drivers.

Re: Tour Edge Exotics

I demoed them...feel was pretty good, distance seemed as good or better than most, but I didn't like the weight...felt light...fixable with a shaft change but for the cost of the club I wouldn't want to have to put any more money into the club...was a little disappointed due to all the hype surrounding the club...was good but not special IMO...
