What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

No, I don't mean "ball marker." I'm talking about a unique mark made on the ball with a magic marker or imprinter to distinguish your Titleist from others. Do you use an identifying mark at all or do you just hope no one else uses a Titleist 7? Talk about your unique identifier or those which you've seen and thought were cool.

Re: What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

Well, first I don't play Titleist, so I have no problem telling my ball from those that do! If I'm playing with someone using similar balls to the ones I use (like the Nike Power Softs or Maxfli Noodles) I'll put my initials "GV" on opposite sides of the ball away from the brand name, so that it's visible in just about any position.

Re: What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

I use my initials on both sides. No mistaking who's ball it is then.

Re: What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

I use a sharpie and put a colored dot on each side of the brand name. I use different colors, but always put balls with the same color dots in my bag that day so I only have to remember one color.

Gee, does the color happen to match the outfit du jour?

Just a red Sharpie dot over 'Srixon', directly opposite of the number.

Re: What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

I don't do anything to crazy, a straight line through the side marking (ie. "Pro V1") and maybe circle the number. I usually don't mark because I know what my ball looks like and I don't ever play in tournaments or anything as such.

However, I do only use numbers 1-4.

I forget to mention that I also have balls with "Diane" printed on them. I still put the colored dots, but I like the personalization.

I don't like to mark my balls. I like my balls clean. But if I have to mark my golf ball, I'll put a blue dot below the number.

A guy at a course I play bought a ball imprinter and imprints his balls with the image of a lion. His astrological sign is Leo....go figure.

I like playing Titleist PROV1's numbered 5 thru 8 . Nobody else I play with uses those number but when I play in a tournament or in a league I will usually draw a red dot just under the number .

Re: What's Your Unique Ball Mark?

I buy Callaways from a site that sells extra logo balls. My marks are usually the logo of some company. Sometimes it's a record company, maybe a marketing firm, ect....Anyone finds a Callaway with a logo, they know it's mine.

I've been playing TP Red/Black x-outs recently so no need to mark them, they have XXX on them.

Three green dots that form a triangle I’m an engineer (and it has nothing to do with trains)

OK, I'll take a stab at it.

Green would mean "all clear", but it would be only one (possibly two) green lights, correct?

Is there a triangular signal or do you just prefer triangles (or groups of three) and it's simply the color, not the amount or configuration you're referring to?

How'd I do?
