Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

Yes, and I look for them as well! I hate spending money on tees.

Ditto. And I always use a broken one on par 3s if I can find one.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

Absolutely I do. Although they're not of much use with my driver, I can always use spare ones on par 3s.

I actually still have most of the tees left that whatever that person's name was that was giving them away to us a last year gave us. Still waiting on that extra 37 yards though.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

I never grab more than 2 tees out of my bag at the beginning of a round and it's rare that I have to go back to my bag for more tees. I'll either find them on the ground along the way or I use broken ones on the par 3's. Sometimes I even finish the day and put 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 tees back in my bag when I'm done. I can't remember the last time I paid for tees.

Never. I never pick up a ball I find either. I assume that someone else needs the tees or balls more than I do so I leave them.

Sometimes I do that as well . On really short par 3's I just hit the ball off the ground . Usually on 150 yards or less I don't use tee's .

Since I color coordinate my tees to my clothes - chances are slim I will find the color I need on the ground. My guess is you don't have that quirk.

That's the same reason Poulter never picks up used tees.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

Oh yea, all the time. I often end up with more tees in my pocket than when I started. I especially like those plastic ones with the 3 little prongs.

Oh, "Un-broken tees"....well, I pick them up and put them in the container they have next to the tee markers. I don't like loose stuff around my ball on the tee. On par-3's, I often use broken tees instead of a full one.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

Yes, I do, even though I have plenty. I like to pick up balls and unbroken tees. For long Par 3s, I'll use a broken tee I find on the ground.

I pretty much only use tees I find, broken and unbroken.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

I do all the time, though as I mentioned on another thread I get a rainbow of streaks on clubs from all the different colors, and so I think I need to consider just switching to natural wood color.

Re: Do You Pick Up Unbroken Tees?

I always use tees that I've found. I have actually been lucky lately and found a few non-friction plastic tees (even a couple broken ones to use on par 3's).

I also use golf balls that I find. And it has nothing to do with "needing them" more than someone else does. If I was really that poor, I wouldn't play. It's just the fact that it is convenient.

By "need" I wasn't implying that someone was poor. I tend to overload my bag with everything including balls and tees so I'm set any time I'm out there - heck I probably have enough in my bag for my entire 4-some. Someone else may lose a ball and not have enough in their bag that day so I leave the ball for them. I usually have extra snacks too if someone is hungry.

I'll use the broken ones on par 3's, just like several others have mentioned. I usually don't pick up unbroken ones I see along the way, I've got plenty of those.
