Out of commission
For the next week after tomorrow I am going to be banned from the golf course and any other strenuous activities. On Friday I will be having an out patient operation and then I will be limited in activity for a week. I knew this was on it's way but it will mean an entire week without golf. Since June I have missed maybe 4 days total playing golf. It's almost going to be like going cold turkey.
Please post as many golf scores, outings, and shots of the round you can so I can somewhat live vicariously through you. Thank you in advance, an addict that goes cold turkey will definitely have some problems but maybe with your help I can make it through this tough time. Sometimes I hate to love golf.

Watch a lot of the Golf Channel, rent Caddyshack, Tin Cup, etc, take an old club and cut the head off so you can hold the grip, put some of your buddies on speed dial so you can call them for an intervention. We'll do our part to keep your habit supplied, but a week should go by pretty quickly. Good luck and get well quick.
