Someone won a car!

First time this happened in a tournament I participated in. Playing in a sponsors tournament put on by the Arena Football League, to thank their sponsors for putting on Arena Bowl XXII (I wasn't a sponsor, just got a lucky invite). As we were playing our second to last hole of the tournament, which happened to be the hole before the hole-in-one-wins-a-car hole, one of the cart girls happens by and announces someone won the car! It was the 9th hole at the TPC of Louisiana. Kinda cool, the guy was a 22 year old, recently married so just starting his life out. Won a yellow Mitsubishi Eclipse. Nicely done!
Anyone else been party to or witness one for the car or another big prize?

On a side note, I set my new GPS down there and it's now gone... grrrr......

I wasn't a witness to it, but a guy at my old club won a Porsche for a hole in one a year or so before I joined. I played in a tournament last year that had a Harley on one hole. I missed putting it in by about a couple of feet and one of the other guys in my group was almost as close. We were watching them close all the way to the hole....

I played in the Mercedes Amateur Championship at Kiannapali and a guy in our tourney won a 135K Mercedes convertable. Before the round was over he was already calculating how much he can sell it for.
