Re: Srixon AD-333

I gave the 333 a birdie, as it doesn't stack up to a premium urethane covered ball. However, in it's class I believe it to be the leader. The rabalon cover is pretty soft (sometimes too soft as it scuffs pretty quickly), and feels great with the putter. The ball actually spins very well, yet it is pretty long off of the tee. It is a little more expensive than the noodles, laddies, etc, but I would say it is worth it!

Re: Srixon AD-333

Been playing the AD333 about a year now. I too rate this ball a Birdie.

It's a very good all-around ball, and it's not so expensive that I have to eat PB&J sandwiches every time I buy a dozen.
I've actually been getting better results as of the past 2 months, which adds up to losing less balls. Lost only one last Sunday!

The ball feels very good coming off every club. The ball stops dead on the green from under 160 yards.
Distance off the driver on a clean hit is satisfying.

Pitching, chipping and putting is where you get the best out of the ball. The feel is so good you want
to play the same shot again just to do it again!

This ball and the Nike SuperSoft/Powersoft are my balls of choice. They both have that nice soft feel that I really like, I can't really tell them apart when I hit them either off the tee or short. I rate the Srixon 2nd to the Nike just because of price - even though $20 a dozen isn't bad at all, the Nikes' are $15/doz.
I am happy to play either ball, they are both in my bag. I give it a birdie.

Re: Srixon AD-333

Great balls! I have used these before, but I don't any in my bag.(maybe I should) The distance is pretty good, of course not as long as Pro V, but I love the performance around the green. They drop and stick, and stay there. A Birdie, for sure.

Re: Srixon AD-333

I gave them a birdie. I've just played 2 rounds with them - I've never played them before. These balls stop dead on the green and will even back up a little with very little effort. I have never had that kind of performance from a ball before. Off the tee they have decent distance and in the short game they're like butter - soft butter. I've played better balls but they cost more than twice as much as these. I got mine off of Ebay for less than $15 a dozen brand new. You can't beat that price.

Re: Srixon AD-333

I like these balls, but having played both this ball and the Top Flite D2 Feel ball during my round yesterday, I like the D2's better. This ball is just as long, but I had an incredible day putting with the D2s and I seemed to leave these balls a little short when putting. I know it's not the ball, but the D2 outperformed these balls when the flatstick was in my hands. Still a good ball, though.

Re: Srixon AD-333

Not that I dislike the ball. But it is a little more expensive than the Rev solid I play. Yet the increase in price doesn't really = more playability. For me, the 333 tears up easier and the increase in spin isn't so great that it plays like a pro-v. So in essence, I play my 40 yard wedge shots the same way I do with the cheaper Rev solid. Not a bad ball, just not good enough to pay more for it than the Maxfli.
