Re: Nike Power Distance

I was going to put PAR, since I prefer the Nike ONE Black and Slazenger's Money ball, but for the price, it's a very decent ball. My only negative is that it just doesn't feel as good when I'm chipping or putting. That's a very personal opinion.

Re: Nike Power Distance

I posted the following over in the equipment section a member was asking for a ball recommendation my review on the distance ball

Quote:
Nike Power Distance ball is a good choice if you are a beginner or intermediate golfer, they come in I think three different styles; one is package in a green box, one in a red box, and the other in a blue box. They are well worth a try for just about any level golfer and they are about $15.00-20.00 dollars US depending on where you purchase them.

Re: Nike Power Distance

I've played these quite a bit, and really like the Power Distance/Soft (green box). I played the red boxed ones (distance), as well, and they are also good balls. The Soft ones felt better putting and on short chips and such, which is what they are designed for, I guess! I would use the "Distance" ones on par 5s where I needed 2 long shots, and they still gave good feel around the green and putting, but something was mising compared to the "Softs".

Overall, this line of balls is a great value and performs well, so it gets a birdie!

Re: Nike Power Distance

Have to say I have a new bargain ball thanks to the Power Distance-Soft. I had been playing the Rev. Solids but threw in a couple of sleeves of the Nike ball at my last golf weekend and was very pleased. No longer or shorter than the Maxfli but the big difference was with the SW in my hand. Much better feel. I can actually play a little one hop and check shot (though it does roll out a couple of feet further than my pro-v's)...Good feel putting too.....I'm going to pick more of these up. This ball has the same feel as the old Top Flite "Exceptional Spin" ball....perhaps even spinning a little better.
