Medicus/Refiner Iron

I received the Medicus iron from a friend and it helped me in terms of my tempo and mechanics with hitting my irons.

The advantage is the immediate feedback on a poor swing. I use this club at least once a week to make sure that my swing plane and tempo are consistent.

I had the driver also, which inadvertently slipped out of my sweating hands. There is no way to repair it once it is broken. Because of that reason, I feel that the Refiner is as effective and a more economical option.

This is a good adjunct to lessons with a golf professional (which should be done before trying this club out).

I've had my Medicus 5-iron for about two years now, and I can truthfully say it's helped me with my tempo. Rushing the swing will break the club down, so using it over and over ingrains a smooth tempo with me. I keep it by my front door, so I see it before I head upstairs for the night. I swing my Momentus iron 20 times, and the Medicus 15 times, and I'm done.
