Re: Nikeguy07 Driver videos!

I didn't see where either of those shots ended up, but I'd venture a guess that I'd gladly take either one of 'em.

Nice swing!

I actually LOVED the course...I played very solid...Front 9 I had 8 pars and an eagle...We played Orange Tree Country Club, and Red Tail. Both great golf courses...Red Tail is one of those courses I could play every day and love it!

I've heard good things about it, and thought I might get to play it last year, but the invite fell through. Do you know if it is still private, or are they allowing public play?

Re: Nikeguy07 Driver videos!

Nice vids. Can you draw the ball with that Nike (looks like a Nike)? I picked one up and for whatever reason, am basically hitting fades or closes I come to a draw is a straight pull, lol.

Have you ever tried to 'slow down the movie' using Microsoft Movie Maker (free download) or Quicktime Player or Photoshop ImageReady (not free).

They have video effects to slow down the display of the video (half speed) to make it easier to follow (ImageReady allows you to assign whatever time period to each frame).

You might change your mind quick esp. in the summer when the course is hard and dried out...

The first backswing put the club well over your head instead of over your shoulders on plane, so I would not have been surprised had you sliced it.

The second swing, viewed from the side, looks good. You lost some of the lag as most amateurs do, but it is better than mine! For more effortless distance you (we) need to make a more aggressive and earlier weight shift to the front leg, you want to "leave the club behind" as your hips turn toward the target.

Thanks for the input...BUUUUT I don't think I've ever hit a slice in my life, or even a fade...

2nd...Lost some of the lag? I have a ball speed of 185+ and carry the ball 300+...I'm not sure there is much more I can get

Nice looking swing! Where's that new Cleveland HiBore at? You're not using it there are you (I know the one is a Nike). I was messing around at Dick's Sporting Good's the other day and hit that new HiBore and loved how it felt in the simulator. Can't wait to go get fitted for a new driver this year (it will be my first driver fitting)

What no swing picture of an easy 2 iron going 240? Wished I had half your swing but I'll just settle for looking good.

The Hibore is in the 2nd video...The one that you can see the front of me...You can tell its a different sound...I haven't reshafted it yet, so sometimes its a little less accurate!

Thought about moving to Florida and trying to "make it" but got a great job offer that I couldn't pass up. I will still play in the US AM and US Open qualifiers, just incase I get lucky for a week...
