AHAHA...Stay in little POOPIE!

As some of you know, I graduated college last year and was the captain of the golf team for my last 2 years. Even though I'm not on the team anymore, my college flew me down to Florida to work with the team and get them better while on Spring Break. We have a bunch of great guys and none of them get to mad, or yell out F bombs or anything when they hit a bad shot...WELL we were playing "Orange Tree Country Club" which is in Orlando. 100% positive it is the hardest course I've ever played. Tiger shot 80 his first time playing it and said it made him feel "claustrophobic" He did shoot 66 his next time but thats besides the point. Sergio wouldn't tell his score, and a few other PGA guys haven't broken 80...ANYWAY, we know the owner of the course and go down there every year for spring break. In Michigan we don't get to play in the winter, so not swinging a club, and then going down to Orange Tree is not a good combo! So we just have a good time and try and get better.

This video is HILARIOUS to me, but prob won't be quite as funny to you guys without knowing the kid. But he is the nicest kid in the world, and hit a 3 wood about 5 yards off the fairway and was close to the O.B. So he yells for his ball to stay in bounds!!!

Re: AHAHA...Stay in little POOPIE!

I'll be honest with my scores on this one!

First round hadn't touched a club in prob a month or two...Shot 94
Second round shot 86
Third round 82
fourth round 78...Was playing sweet!
Then got to play red tail and shot 69 (Chris Dimarcos home course)
Then played in a tournament down there and shot 72 at some other course...Kinda dumpy..They have hooters events there all the time
played Orange tree again and shot 80

Not bad if you ask me... especially when Tiger is shooting 80 there. I hear he's pretty good.

Its just one of those courses where you can NEVER relax, and be like "oh good...easy hole here" AND, any swing you make you have to worry about O.B. whether it is a tee ball or a second shot, or even a lay up shot on a par 5...It mentally beats you up and kicks you when you are down...Ive seen more 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16's on that course then I ever have in my life....You might make 14 pars and shoot 85....You can be even for 6 holes and KNOW a blow up is soon to happen..

I could easily look this info up (that's to easy), but what is the rating and yardage?

See...that is the part.....The rating and slope don't make it seem that difficult....Red tail, the course I shot 69 is actually a harder rating and slope, but not NEARLY as tough...I'm not sure what the deal was with the slope and rating...I know the rating is 75.7 or something like that...Not sure on the slope...Its pretty private, don't think it can be looked up that easy....There is an orange tree "golf" club in orlando, but that is DEF not it.....It's Orange Tree "country club"....But needless to say...The slope and rating do not do it justice....

Lee Williamson who is a Nationwide/PGA player (long time friend of mine) used to be a member out there, but left because he would play great and shoot 74 or something, and then play a nationwide event and be 4 or 5 under and choke because he wasn't used to being so many under because of the constant 74's he was shooting....More of a mental thing. So he has switched home courses so he can constantly know what it feels like to be under par and just have it be "normal"
