I like the 2 Bar putters since I can change the weight and lie of the putter. Given that I am still experimenting with putting, it's good to have two different styles and several weight combinations. I have changed the lie of the mallet twice which is something I could not have easily done with a standard putter.

The feel of the mallet and blade are soft. The blade has a more metallic sound on contact whereas the mallet is more muted in tone.

The blade is wider in size. The mallet has a longer weight port. I have better distance control with the blade.

Construction is solid and the grips are very comfortable. The cover on the blade does tend to come off at times during a round.

The roll of the putt on the course is truer than other putters that I have demoed with my putting style (those tend to send the ball skipping or hopping before continuing its course).

I have tried this putter in the store and while it wasn't on real greens it still felt great. I would reccommend this putter to most people.

I’ve had the 2 Bar blade offset for about 1 month now. I have bought and or tried just about every putter out there (just ask Lady Walker) and the first thing I noticed with the Rife was that my distance control was better than it had ever been. Our greens have taken a beating lately so I am still experimenting but I think I will be keeping this one in the bag for a long time.

I've had my Rife mallet for a week now, and have only been putting into a toy putting ring on the carpet. Played my first 9 holes with it yesterday, and I'm much more consistent with it that I was with my old Odyssey 2-ball. My lag putts ended up within tap-in range. The weighting, balance and lignment aids feel so much better to me than the 2-ball's.

I've been through 3 putters in the past 5 years (knock-off Anser, Carbite ZH, Odyssey 2-ball), and this is the first one I really feed confident with each time I line one up.

Looks a little too big for me, doesn't suit my eye. The feel is great though.

The infomercial makes sense, and all the reviews are positive. I think I'm going to give this one a try. What are the main differences between the mallet and the blade?

The mallet has a piece that extends from the back of the face under the two bars that stick out of the back of the club. The blade does not have this piece, just the two bars protruding from the back of the club head.
