Re: Ping Redwood

This may be my next putter. I am thinking about buying a new putter so I stopped by my local golf shop. I tried the new Camerons, the Yes! Callie (I really liked it, especially the price ) But the putter that really got my attention was the Ping Redwood Anser. I like everything about it. It looks great and I love the feel. The only drawback is the $249.00 price tag.

Re: Ping Redwood

I liked the look, feel and sound of the club...what I didn't like is the anser modeling...I have never been able to align ansers or copies (despite owning an anser) properly, and do much better with face balanced putters (or so it would seem...all the putters that I gravitate to are identified as such by the helpful sales associate)...sweet, and as far as the price...it's only money...if I found the perfect putter, do you think 100 bucks outstripping the nearest competition would stop me from getting it!?!?!?

I put these in the same catergory as odyssey black series...similar feel and look as well...
